Project News - February 2011

The second trial in the ManuVAR project, Trial 1, was successfully completed in San Sebastian, December 2010 (see Project Status - February 2011). Click here to see a short video of the trial. We are now busy preparing for Trial 2, which will take place in Tampere, Finland at the end of March.

October 2010 marked the half way stage in the ManuVAR project. 18 months in to the project, results have been presented at 10 conferences - 22 conference papers in total. See Publications section for details.

'Nanoweek 2011' took place in Ireland from 31st January to 4th February 2011 (http://www.nanonetireland.ie/events.htm). A series of events highlighted the contribution that nanoscience is making to the Irish economy through ongoing industrial engagements. The ManuVAR project poster was presented at the Nanoweek 2011 Conference, Nanotechnology – Research Excellence & Commercial Opportunities.
