ManuVAR at JVRC 2011

In September 2011, ManuVAR took part in the Joint Virtual Reality Conference (JVRC) of euroVR and EGVE. The two-day conference was held at the University of Nottingham’s award winning Jubilee campus in the UK. ManuVAR hosted an exhibition booth at the event to share project findings and developments to date. The project also sponsored a workshop, ‘VR, AR, MR and the future of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)’, and held demos for attendees. Click on the video below to find out more.

Trial 3 - June 2011

In June 2011 Trial 3 of the ManuVAR project took place at VTT in Tampere, Finland. This was the final trial before the project moves to the demonstration phase. In this video you will see how the ManuVAR platform will provide solutions and benefits to a range of industries, making high-value, high-knowledge manual work more effective for workers and managers across Europe.

Trial 2 - March 2011

This sixteen minute video documents Trial 2, which took place at VTT (Tampere, Finland) at the end of March 2011. You will see examples of how ManuVAR will improve manual work at different stages of the system lifecycle and across a number of industries. Project partners from each of the five clusters will introduce the trials and explain the scenarios taking place.

Trial 1 - December 2010

This short video provides an overview of the second trial of the ManuVAR technology – Trial 1. The trial took place at Tecnalia (San Sebastian, Spain) in mid-December 2010. Four application tools were tested and evaluated in a lab environment by a multidisciplinary team of internal technical, human factors and application experts.
