Our privacy policy is not complicated, but it does need to be stated.

Some of the extended, optional functionality of this web site requires each user to register by volunterring some personal details. The functionality this refers to includes, but is not limited to, the email update signup option and the site user registration option.

For each of these we do require the user to enter some personal details, personal preferences and contact information. The use of this information is strictly confined to the functionality being clearly offered in return for voluntarily entering the required data. The information requested is clearly labelled, is completely voluntary and will be both respected and kept confidential at all times.

Access to the core information and functionality of the web site is in no way compromised by not opting for these additional elements.

Beyond the member organisations of the ManuVAR project, we do not share this information with any other entity. Within the member organisations of the ManuVAR project the information may only be used where deemed relevant to the progress of the project of to the benefit of the user who has registered. We explicity do not sell or make available this information by any method to any third party for any purposes whatsoever.

Any person who has volunteered such information may, at any time, request that their information be deleted from our records. Any request to remove a user's registration information will automatically remove the user's access to the functions provided by the registration in question.
